The Flylight reel case features a simple, easy-to-build design that pads and protects your reel. The quick and easy hook and loop closure provides security with easy access.

The Flylight Reel Case is perfect or protecting you hard-working fly reel when it’s not in use. 12345
- Tough shell fabric shields the case while interior spacer mesh and polyester batting provide cushioned protection for your reel.
- Ideal fit for 4 weight – 6 weight fly reels.
- Secure hook and loop (Velco) closure.
- Assembled Dimensions: 4-1/4” x 4” x 2-1/4” (10.8 x 10.1 x 5.7 cm)

This pattern is great for a beginner and a good practice of sewing curves.
Recommended Materials
The main materials used in this build include:
- 200+ denier pack fabric such as EPX200, X-Pac VX21, or Cordura for the outer shell.
- 1/4” (6mm) stretch mesh fabric
- 1/4” – 1/2” (6cm – 13cm) polyester batting
- 1” wide hook and loop (Velcro) tape
- Double-fold bias tape
